Winners of the Vana Tallinn Baltic Sommelier Grand Prix announced

Tuljak Restaurant recently hosted the Vana Tallinn Baltic Sommelier Grand Prix, the most important competition of its kind in the Baltics and named after the most popular spirit in the Baltics, Vana Tallinn. An international jury awarded the title of best sommelier in the Baltics to Raimonds Tomsons of Latvia.

Second place went to Kaspars Reitups, also from Latvia, while third place stayed in Estonia thanks to a performance by Kristjan Markii. The best young sommelier title was awarded to Ketri Leis from Estonia and the special audience prize, to Raimonds Tomsons. This year’s best sommelier will be bound for Hong Kong, where he will have a chance to take part in the Best Sommelier competition in the Asia and Oceania region. The prize at the Baltic competition was sponsored by AS Liviko.

The Vana Tallinn Baltic Sommelier Grand Prix is an annual event held by Liviko for the tenth time this year.
